In February, 2015, the junior elite from over 40 European nations will meet in Zurich. Over 800 young, ambitious competitors show challenging forms (kata) and attractive fights (kumite). The Juniors from 14 to 20 years of age will show a lot of spirit, engagement, passion, and fair play during these days.
The event is under the patronage of the Swiss Karate Federation (SKF) and is realized by the organizing committee, which consists of enthusiastic volunteers from the Karate family.
The SKF totals approximately 12.000 members. Old and young practices all over Switzerland in 240 dojos (Karate schools), and finds balance and inner calm in Karate training.
