       Ce sport doriți Adaugat la Jocurile Olimpice din 2020 ?

  The Tokyo 2020 organizing committee on Monday announced the eight possible sports that could be added to the Summer Olympic Games five years from now, including karate and baseball as well as bowling and wushu.

        According to the committee, the eight international federations representing each sport will have until July 22 to submit further details of their plans. The committee will then pick one or more additional events and propose it to the International Olympic Committee, which will make the final decision at the 129^th IOC session in Rio de Janeiro in August 2016.

       The committee earlier this month had announced that 26 sports had applied for inclusion in the 2020.

Olympics. Those who didn’t make the cut include American football, billiards, chess, sumo and tug of war.

Here is a list of the eight sports that could be added to the Summer Olympic Games in 2020.

  In perioada 18 -21 iunie 2015, Sala Polivalenta a Universitatii din Oradea, Judetul Bihor, va fi gazda unui eveniment sportiv unic in Romania, dedicat taekwon-do-ului, un eveniment organizat in cinstea legendarului fondator al acestei arte sportive, Generalul Choi Hong Hi.

  Generalul Choi Hong Hi, fondatorul stilului Taekwon-do, initiatorul Federatiei Internationale de Taekwon-do (International Taekwon-do Federation, prescurtat I.T.F.) al carei presedinte a fost pana la moartea sa, s-a nascut in 9 noiembrie 1918 in districtul Hwa Dae Myong Chun din Coreea si a murit in 15 iunie 2002. Sub tutela Generalului Choi, la data de 11 aprilie 1955, numele de Taekwon-do a fost ales sa reprezinte arta martiala coreeana, de catre istorici si alte persoane proeminente din Coreea. Numele propus de catre Generalul Choi a fost in unanimitate votat pentru a descrie aceasta arta ca fiind valida si de sine statatoare. Astfel, intr-o traducere scurta si clara, TAE = picior, KWON = pumn, DO = arta - ceea ce duce la definirea ei astfel: "arta de a lupta cu piciorul si mana".
